2, Set USB boot disk as the first boot device.

First, connect your USB boot drive, including flash disk, external hard drive or SD card, (You must connect USB drive before start computer, otherwise motherboard won’t show you USB-HDD0 option) then start the computer.

After start the computer, according to the tips given on screen, there are two conditions: first, a tip that displayed when screen shows somethings, press some key (such as F12 or ESC) and then you can access boot device select page; second, there is no tip at all.

1) for the first condition, once the tip shows, you should press the key immediately, and after you entered boot device option, press “↑or↓” to move the cursor to “Hard Disk”, and single press “Enter”. In the new page, move cursor to “USB－HDD0 xxxxxxxx”, press “Enter”, and the motherboard will start up your computer from USB boot disk, check the pictures:

2) For the condition that has no tip, you have to access BIOS settings, and manually set USB-HDD as the first boot device. Here comes the steps: enter “BIOS”, open “Advanced Chipset Features”, then open “Hard Disk Boot Priority”, move cursor to “USB-HDD0 xxxxx” option, then use “+” to move “USB-HDD0 XXXXXXXXX” to the top, and finally press F10 to save the settings. Recently, there is little Windows 8 news. And I am considering posting something useful and helpful Windows 8 tips and tricks during this period. Maybe software reviews, which helps you to solve computer problems mainly. Or still maybe something interesting, for funny software.

So I will do some investigation and then come back later.

As the latest “leaked” a new feature about Windows 8 Portable Workspace, people (editors from all media) recommend this feature. However, I am still thinking about the facticity of this feature.

Check the picture bellow, the “leaked” screen of Windows 8 Portable Workspace. You may say “Wooh, what a brilliant feature!” at the first look.

However, after a while, calmed down later, you, as a common computer user, will see that it seems Windows 8 Portable Workspace is useless for you. And the facticity of this feature is still under verification.

Why, again, do I doubt this kind of feature?

From the Windows 8 Portable Workspace, I really can’t figure out something wrong. But I did find something illogical. Just check the size of that 100GB USB device. That partition is only 7.44GB, and it is D drive. As we know that, usually the system drive has the letter of C, so that means 7.44GB partition is the first partition of USB drive, and the original hard drive has only one partition: C drive. From this point, we will see that this is definitely a virtual machine. Because if I get this Windows 8 OEM, I will surely test all features of Windows 8, including partition manager. So I would use this partition manager see how it works. After that, my hard drive will, of course, have some more partitions, instead of one only.

Second, why this man only create 7.44GB partition? Why didn’t him create a larger partition for more screenshots of full Windows 8 Portable Workspace? This is another question.

But I am not that sure if this screenshot is true or not. But I am so curious that if Microsoft really developed this feature, who will use it? For me, why shall I use it? I have notebook, PC in home, PC in office, all the systems, settings and software are fit for me. I didn’t need it. Personally I think, even if Microsoft really create this feature, Windows 8 common editions will not support this feature, maybe only Windows 8 Ultimate or Enterprise(if exists) edition supports.

So we don’t need to pay more attention on this issue. Even I am thinking if this is a joke made by Kingston? This is a good promotion for Kingston device for free.

Here I say something about myself at first.

I am professional in software marketing, dealing with many big or small software vendors for about 5 years. And the time when I was focusing on Windows 8, is the first time Windows 7 comes out. When Windows 7 genuine came out, I was told that Windows 7 was just a transitional product of Windows 8. And Windows 7, in fact, owns just a little part of features in Windows 8. Firstly, when I heard this, I thought it was joke.

But later, just at this time of last year, I was informed again that Windows 8 has finished internal testing, which means Windows 8 could be installed and used as a complete operating system. However, Windows 7 is the top hot product of Microsoft, and that was one of main reasons Windows 8 beta wasn’t published. And another reason is Microsoft still wanna add some more features into Windows 8, because Microsoft wanna make it as the revolutionary product. And this news came from a manager of Microsoft.

And since then, I have paid most attention on Windows 8 process, which means I have worked on hard about Microsoft Windows 8 for almost a whole year. And I can fully understand that why Microsoft meant “Windows 8 will be a risk.”  And I unmasked the tricks about the leaked Windows 8 App Store sreenshots not long ago Windows 8 App Store Screenshot is a freaky trick.

All I did is not for courting people’s favour by saying sth. But I really hope that people don’t be cheated by other things.

And the article about wishing you not download Windows 8 m1 is mainly for common computer users who feel interested in Windows 8. In fact, I don’t care the leaked Windows 8 M1 is real or not, but I know that the SO CALLED Windows 8 M1 may be created by cankered people who wanna plant some viruses or Trojan into common computer users. And for the professional computer users, they won’t suffer this kind of attack, because nearly most professional computer users will download and install Windows 8 into Virtual Machine at first.  So I am targeting common computer users, and persuade them not to download Windows 8 M1 or other editions’ torrent or something like that.

The video on Youtube has been checked, and I have to see that Windows 8 M1, at this time, is not a good product to evaluate.  I know that people pay great attention on Windows 8, because these people are also profession in this field, and they wanna know Windows 8 features earlier, so that they can take actions earlier.
